Still Here and Still Green.
Wallow fire started on May 29, 2011 and burned 538,049 acres of pestine land including 15,407 acres in New Mexico and was the largest wild fire in Arizona History bypassing the Rodeo. The fire affected The fire was officially called out on July 8th 201. Big Lake and campground is now open and Hoyer Campground in Greer is open as well. Some roads are still closed and should be opened soon.
